एमपीयूएटी पेंशनर्स की समस्याओं का कोई समाधान नहीं: 25 फरवरी को जयपुर में सामूहिक धरना

70-80-90 वर्ष की उम्र में भी प्रदर्शन करने को मजबूर हैं। पेंशनर्स का कहना है कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा अन्य राज्यों की तरह राजस्थान के विश्वविद्यालयों के पेंशनर्स को ट्रेजरी से सीधा भुगतान किया जाए।

24 न्यूज़ अपडेट उदयपुर – महाराणा प्रताप कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय (एमपीयूएटी) के पेंशनर्स पिछले दो वर्षों से गंभीर समस्याओं का सामना कर रहे हैं। पेंशन भुगतान में हो रही देरी, सातवें वेतन आयोग के एरियर की बकाया राशि, ग्रेच्युटी और कम्युटेशन जैसी वित्तीय समस्याओं को लेकर कई बार प्रशासन से वार्ता की गई, लेकिन अब तक कोई ठोस समाधान नहीं निकला।

एमपीयूएटी पेंशनर्स वेलफेयर सोसायटी के अध्यक्ष डॉ. एस.के. भटनागर ने बताया कि पेंशनर्स की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए मार्च-अप्रैल 2024 में विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में सामूहिक धरना दिया गया था, लेकिन विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन के अड़ियल रवैये के कारण कोई समाधान नहीं निकल पाया।

राजस्थान के विश्वविद्यालय पेंशनर्स में आक्रोश

ऑल राजस्थान राज्य वित्त पोषित विश्वविद्यालय पेंशनर्स फेडरेशन, जय नारायण व्यास विश्वविद्यालय पेंशनर्स सोसाइटी और ऑल राजस्थान कृषि विश्वविद्यालय पेंशनर्स फेडरेशन ने मिलकर राज्य के सभी विश्वविद्यालयों के वरिष्ठ नागरिक पेंशनर्स की समस्याओं के स्थायी समाधान के लिए एकजुट होने का आह्वान किया है।

वर्तमान में राज्य सरकार की ढुलमुल नीति और वित्तीय संकट के चलते विश्वविद्यालयों के पेंशनर्स को कई समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा है:

सेवानिवृत्ति के बकाया भुगतान में देरी
सातवें वेतन आयोग के एरियर का भुगतान नहीं
ग्रेच्युटी और कम्युटेशन की राशि लंबित
बकाया राहत भत्ता राशि का भुगतान नहीं

राज्य के पेंशनर्स ने कई बार मुख्यमंत्री, राज्यपाल, विधायक और अन्य जनप्रतिनिधियों से अपनी मांगों को लेकर मुलाकात की और समाधान की अपील की, लेकिन कोई ठोस नतीजा नहीं निकला।

25 फरवरी को जयपुर में होगा विशाल धरना प्रदर्शन

अपनी न्यायोचित मांगों को लेकर राजस्थान के सभी सरकारी विश्वविद्यालयों के पेंशनर्स 25 फरवरी को जयपुर में शहीद स्मारक, पुलिस आयुक्त कार्यालय के सामने शांतिपूर्ण धरना प्रदर्शन करेंगे। डॉ. भटनागर ने बताया कि इस धरने में भारी संख्या में राज्य वित्त पोषित विश्वविद्यालयों के वरिष्ठ नागरिक पेंशनर्स भाग लेंगे।

धरने की तैयारी के लिए कोऑर्डिनेशन कमेटी गठित

प्रो. हरिशंकर शर्मा (अध्यक्ष, फेडरेशन), प्रो. बी.के. शर्मा (महासचिव), श्री मूलचंद जोबनेर और प्रो. एस.के. भटनागर (अध्यक्ष, पेंशनर वेलफेयर सोसायटी, एमपीयूएटी) ने राज्य सरकार से तत्काल समाधान की मांग की है। उनका कहना है कि यदि सरकार जल्दी निर्णय नहीं लेती, तो आगे और बड़े आंदोलन किए जाएंगे।

Udaipur, February 23, 2025 – Pensioners of Maharana Pratap Agricultural and Technology University (MPUAT) have been facing serious issues for the past two years. Delays in pension payments, pending dues of the seventh pay commission arrears, gratuity, and commutation have led to multiple discussions with the administration, but so far, no concrete solution has emerged.

Dr. S.K. Bhatnagar, President of the MPUAT Pensioners Welfare Society, stated that a collective protest was held on the university campus in March-April 2024 to address the issues of pensioners, but no resolution could be reached due to the university administration’s stubborn attitude.

Anger among pensioners in Rajasthan
The All Rajasthan State Funded University Pensioners Federation, the Jai Narayan Vyas University Pensioners Society, and the All Rajasthan Agricultural University Pensioners Federation have united to call for a permanent solution to the problems faced by senior citizen pensioners at all state universities.

Currently, due to the state government’s lax policies and financial crises, pensioners at the universities are facing several issues:

Delay in pending retirement payments
Non-payment of seventh pay commission arrears
Pending amounts of gratuity and commutation
Non-payment of pending relief allowance
State pensioners have met multiple times with the Chief Minister, Governor, MLAs, and other public representatives regarding their demands and appealed for solutions, but no solid results have been achieved.

Large-scale protest on February 25 in Jaipur
Pensioners from all government universities in Rajasthan will hold a peaceful protest on February 25 in front of the martyr’s memorial and police commissioner’s office in Jaipur concerning their rightful demands. Dr. Bhatnagar mentioned that a large number of senior citizen pensioners from state-funded universities will participate in this protest.

Even at the ages of 70-80-90, they are compelled to protest. Pensioners state that, similar to other states, the Rajasthan government should make direct payments to pensioners of universities from the treasury.
