“सनातन संस्कारों ने ही रचा वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम का आधार” – मंत्री बाबूलाल खराड़ी

24 News Update उदयपुर, 25 जून। “भारत को विश्वगुरु बनाने वाला कोई शासन नहीं, बल्कि इसकी ज्ञान-ऋषि परंपरा, सनातन संस्कृति और वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम की भावना है। प्रकृति और प्राणी के सहअस्तित्व की यही सोच ही सतत विकास की असली नींव है।” यह उद्गार राजस्थान सरकार के जनजाति क्षेत्रीय विकास एवं गृह रक्षा मंत्री बाबूलाल खराड़ी ने बुधवार को प्रतापनगर स्थित आईटी सभागार में व्यक्त किए। वे जनार्दन राय नागर राजस्थान विद्यापीठ के संघटक विज्ञान संकाय के वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग द्वारा आयोजित एक दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी ‘बायोडायवर्सिटी एंड सस्टेनेबल प्रैक्टिस’ में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संबोधित कर रहे थे।

उन्होंने कहा कि भारत की संस्कृति ने सदियों पहले वसुधैव कुटुंबकम की जो परिकल्पना दी, वह आज की वैश्विक पर्यावरणीय और मानवीय समस्याओं का समाधान बन सकती है। मंत्री खराड़ी ने युवाओं से अपील की कि वे परंपरागत ज्ञान और स्थानीय संसाधनों के संरक्षण पर आधारित शोध को अपनाएं, क्योंकि आने वाले समय में यही भारत को फिर से मार्गदर्शक बनाएगा।

प्रकृति लालच से नहीं, संतुलन से फलती है: कुलपति सारंगदेवोत

राजस्थान विद्यापीठ के कुलपति प्रो. एस. एस. सारंगदेवोत ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि प्रकृति हमेशा देने को तैयार है, लेकिन लालच की पूर्ति उसमें संभव नहीं। उन्होंने गीता और ऋग्वेद के उदाहरण देते हुए जैव विविधता और पारिस्थितिकी के पारंपरिक संबंधों को रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने तीज-त्योहारों में निहित प्रकृति प्रेम, सहअस्तित्व और संरक्षण के सरल किंतु प्रभावी संस्कारों को अपनाने का आह्वान किया। साथ ही सतत जल प्रबंधन, जैविक खेती, जल-जंगल-जमीन की समझ और संरक्षण की आधुनिक आवश्यकताओं को भी जोड़ने की बात कही।

मेवाड़ की परंपरा में समाहित है प्रकृति का सम्मान: अनुराग सक्सेना

प्रताप गौरव केंद्र के निदेशक अनुराग सक्सेना ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि मेवाड़ की ऐतिहासिक परंपरा में प्रकृति का संरक्षण संस्कृति का हिस्सा रहा है। उन्होंने महाराणा प्रताप के कृषि दृष्टिकोण, जैविक खाद, मृदा और जल संरक्षण के साथ सहजीवन की प्रथाओं की चर्चा की। उन्होंने आवल-बवाल संधि का उदाहरण देते हुए स्थानीय जैव विविधता के संरक्षण में ऐतिहासिक योगदान को रेखांकित किया।

कुलाधिपति ने कहा – नई पीढ़ी को मिलना चाहिए परंपरा से जुड़ा आधुनिक ज्ञान

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए कुलाधिपति भंवरलाल गुर्जर ने कहा कि पारंपरिक ग्रामीण आदतों और लोक ज्ञान को आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से जोड़ कर नई पीढ़ी तक पहुंचाना समय की मांग है। उन्होंने प्रकृति की ओर लौटने की जीवनशैली को ही पर्यावरणीय समस्याओं का समाधान बताया।

तकनीकी सत्र में क्षेत्रीय अनुभव और शोध प्रस्तुत

तकनीकी सत्रों में वन विभाग के पूर्व एसीएफ डॉ. सतीश कुमार शर्मा ने राजस्थान की जनजातीय और ग्रामीण जैव विविधता से जुड़े मुद्दों पर प्रकाश डाला, वहीं इकोलॉजी और लाइवलीहुड एक्शन संस्थान के डॉ. सुनील दुबे ने प्रेजेंटेशन के माध्यम से आधुनिक संकटों में परंपरागत समाधानों की उपयोगिता बताई।

150 से अधिक प्रतिभागियों की भागीदारी

सेमिनार की आयोजन सचिव डॉ. सपना श्रीमाली ने बताया कि कार्यक्रम में 150 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों, शोधार्थियों और प्राध्यापकों ने भाग लिया। विभिन्न तकनीकी सत्रों में विषय पर आधारित रिसर्च पेपर्स और पोस्टर प्रेजेंटेशन प्रस्तुत किए गए।

सेमिनार में रजिस्ट्रार डॉ. तरुण श्रीमाली, कुल सचिव भैरूलाल लौहार, प्रो. गजेन्द्र माथुर, प्रो. आई. जे. माथुर, डॉ. नीरू राठौड़, डॉ. अवनीश नागर, डॉ. उत्तम शर्मा, डॉ. जयसिंह जोधा सहित विश्वविद्यालय के डीन, डायरेक्टर्स, विद्यार्थी और स्कॉलर्स उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन सिद्धिका शर्मा ने किया और आभार डॉ. उत्तम शर्मा ने व्यक्त किया।

“Sanatan Values Laid the Foundation of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – Minister Babulal Kharaḍi

Udaipur, June 25. “India did not become a global spiritual guide due to any political power, but because of its ancient wisdom, Sanatan cultural values, and the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family. The idea of harmonious coexistence between nature and all beings is the true foundation of sustainable development.” These thoughts were expressed by Rajasthan’s Minister of Tribal Area Development and Home Guards, Shri Babulal Kharaḍi, at a national seminar organized on the theme ‘Biodiversity and Sustainable Practices’ by the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, held at the IT auditorium, Pratapnagar, Udaipur.

Kharaḍi emphasized that India’s ancient vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam has the potential to address today’s global environmental and human crises. He urged the youth to engage in research based on traditional knowledge systems and the conservation of local resources, as this approach will once again position India as a global thought leader.

“Nature Prospers Through Balance, Not Greed” – Vice Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot

Vice Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot stated that nature is always willing to give, but it cannot satisfy human greed. Citing references from the Gita and Rigveda, he highlighted the traditional links between biodiversity and ecology. He called for embracing the values of nature love, coexistence, and environmental preservation embedded in Indian festivals and traditions. He also advocated for integrating sustainable water management, organic farming, and conservation of water-forest-land ecosystems with modern needs.

“Respect for Nature is Inherent in Mewar’s Tradition” – Anurag Saxena

Anurag Saxena, Director of Pratap Gaurav Kendra, remarked that nature conservation has always been a part of Mewar’s cultural tradition. He spoke about Maharana Pratap’s agricultural practices, the use of organic fertilizers, soil and water conservation, and the ethos of symbiotic living. He also cited the Aawal-Bawal Agreement as a historical example of community-led biodiversity conservation.

“Traditional Wisdom Must Reach the New Generation” – Chancellor Bhanwarlal Gurjar

Presiding over the event, Chancellor Bhanwarlal Gurjar emphasized the need to bridge traditional rural practices and folk wisdom with modern scientific approaches. He advocated a return to nature-centric lifestyles as a viable solution to pressing environmental challenges.

Technical Sessions: Regional Knowledge and Research Presented

In the technical sessions, Dr. Satish Kumar Sharma, former ACF of the Forest Department, highlighted biodiversity issues in tribal and rural regions of Rajasthan. Dr. Sunil Dubey from the Institute of Ecology and Livelihood Action presented the relevance of traditional solutions in addressing modern environmental crises through a multimedia presentation.

Participation of Over 150 Scholars and Students

Seminar Organizing Secretary Dr. Sapna Shrimali informed that more than 150 students, researchers, and faculty members participated in the seminar. Subject-specific research papers and poster presentations were showcased during the technical sessions.

The seminar was graced by Registrar Dr. Tarun Shrimali, University Secretary Bhairulal Lohar, Prof. Gajendra Mathur, Prof. I.J. Mathur, Dr. Neeru Rathore, Dr. Avneesh Nagar, Dr. Uttam Sharma, and Dr. Jaysingh Jodha, among several deans, directors, scholars, and students.
