जांच अधिकारी हेड कांस्टेबल भरत सिंह के अनुसार, डूंगरपुर के बिच्छीवाड़ा निवासी सविता (45) और उनकी सहेली आदित्या (24) के शव फतहसागर झील के स्वरूप सागर लिंक नहर के पास मिले थे। सविता का शव 25 फरवरी की सुबह बरामद हुआ, जबकि शाम को आदित्या का शव मिला। प्रारंभिक जांच में मामला आत्महत्या का लग रहा था, लेकिन गायत्री द्वारा दर्ज करवाई गई रिपोर्ट के बाद पुलिस ने हत्या की आशंका पर भी जांच शुरू कर दी है।

बहन ने लगाए गंभीर आरोप

गायत्री ने पुलिस को दी गई रिपोर्ट में बताया कि सविता की बेटी आस्था (12) बीमार थी, और इसी दौरान सविता के पति दीताराम ने उन्हें धमकी दी थी कि “अगर आस्था को कुछ हुआ, तो तुम दोनों की खैर नहीं।” गायत्री ने दावा किया कि उसकी बहन आदित्या को तैरना आता था, इसलिए यह मानना मुश्किल है कि उसने खुद झील में कूदकर जान दी होगी।

घटना से पहले क्या हुआ था?

22 फरवरी: दीताराम अपनी पत्नी सविता और उनकी सहेली आदित्या के किराए के मकान पर पहुंचा। उसी दौरान सविता और आदित्या बाहर गई थीं। लौटने पर सविता ने अपनी बेटी आस्था की हालत बिगड़ती देख उसे दवा दी, जिससे थोड़ी देर के लिए राहत मिली।
रात 11 बजे: सविता और दीताराम के बीच झगड़ा हुआ।
रात 1:30 बजे: आस्था की तबीयत अचानक बिगड़ गई, जिसके बाद उसे सलूंबर के अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन डॉक्टरों ने मृत घोषित कर दिया।
23 फरवरी: दीताराम सविता और आदित्या के साथ आस्था का शव लेकर उदयपुर के लिए रवाना हुआ।
रास्ते में: उदियापोल बस स्टैंड के पास सविता ने वॉशरूम जाने का बहाना बनाया और आदित्या के साथ गाड़ी से उतर गई। इसके बाद दोनों लापता हो गईं।
25 फरवरी: सविता और बाद में आदित्या के शव फतहसागर झील से मिले।

गायत्री का दावा: हत्या कर शव फेंका गया

गायत्री ने बताया कि 23 फरवरी को सुबह 6 बजे दीताराम ने उसे फोन कर आदित्या का नंबर मांगा। जब उसने बताया कि आदित्या तो उनके साथ ही गई थी, तो दीताराम ने फोन काट दिया। इसके बाद 25 फरवरी की शाम पुलिस ने आदित्या के शव मिलने की सूचना दी। गायत्री को संदेह है कि आदित्या को मारकर झील में फेंका गया।

सविता का विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ने और सरकारी नौकरी छोड़ने का पहलू

सविता पूर्व सरकारी टीचर थीं और 2023 में खेरवाड़ा विधानसभा से निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ चुकी थीं। इससे पहले वह आम आदमी पार्टी की उम्मीदवार भी रह चुकी थीं। उन्होंने सरकारी नौकरी छोड़कर निजी कॉलेज में पढ़ाना शुरू किया था। हाल ही में उनका चयन महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग में आईसीडीएस सुपरवाइजर के पद पर हुआ था, और वे जल्द ही अपनी नई नौकरी जॉइन करने वाली थीं।

पुलिस की जांच जारी

अंबामाता थानाधिकारी मुकेश सोनी ने बताया कि गायत्री की रिपोर्ट पर हत्या का मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और जांच जारी है। पुलिस अब यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि क्या यह वास्तव में आत्महत्या का मामला है या हत्या कर इसे आत्महत्या दिखाने की कोशिश की गई है। सविता और आदित्या की मौत का सच अब पुलिस जांच के बाद ही सामने आएगा।

According to investigating officer Head Constable Bharat Singh, the bodies of Savita (45) and her friend Aditya (24), residents of Bichhiwada in Dungarpur, were found near the Swaroop Sagar Link Canal of Fatehsagar Lake. Savita’s body was recovered on the morning of 25 February, while Aditya’s body was found in the evening. In the initial investigation, the case seemed like a suicide, but after the report filed by Gayatri, the police have also started investigating the possibility of murder.

Sister made serious allegations

Gayatri told the police in her report that Savita’s daughter Aastha (12) was ill, and during this time Savita’s husband Dita Ram had threatened them that “if anything happens to Aastha, then you both will be in trouble.” Gayatri claimed that her sister Aditya knew how to swim, so it is difficult to believe that she would have committed suicide by jumping into the lake.

What happened before the incident?

February 22: Dita Ram reached the rented house of his wife Savita and her friend Aditya. At the same time, Savita and Aditya had gone out. On returning, Savita saw her daughter Aastha’s condition deteriorating and gave her medicine, which provided relief for a while.

11 pm: There was a fight between Savita and Dita Ram.

1:30 am: Aastha’s health suddenly deteriorated, after which she was taken to Salumbhar hospital, but doctors declared her dead.

23 February: Dita Ram left for Udaipur with Savita and Aditya’s body.

On the way: Near Udiapol bus stand, Savita made an excuse to go to the washroom and got off the car with Aditya. After this, both of them went missing.

25 February: Savita and later Aditya’s bodies were found in Fatehsagar lake.

Gayatri claims: Body thrown after murder

Gayatri told that on 23 February at 6 am, Dita Ram called her and asked for Aditya’s number. When she told that Aditya had gone with them, Dita Ram disconnected the call. After this, on the evening of 25 February, the police informed about Aditya’s body being found. Gayatri suspects that Aditya was killed and thrown into the lake.

Savita’s aspect of contesting assembly elections and leaving government job

Savita was a former government teacher and had contested the 2023 Kherwada assembly election as an independent. Earlier, she had also been a candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party. She had left the government job and started teaching in a private college. Recently, she was selected for the post of ICDS supervisor in the Women and Child Development Department, and she was about to join her new job soon.

Police investigation continues

Ambamata police station officer Mukesh Soni said that a case of murder has been registered on Gayatri’s report and the investigation is on. The police is now trying to find out whether it is really a case of suicide or an attempt has been made to show it as suicide after murder.
